About Us

Welcome to RanchRide, Rancho Mission Viejo’s Transportation Management Association (Rancho TMA)

Rancho TMA is a public benefit corporation that facilitates transportation and connectivity for Rancho Mission Viejo residents and visitors. It offers event-based transportation services and private and group charters, and provides extensive transportation information and resources.

Purpose

RanchRide offers free or low-to-no-cost public transportation, in cooperation with OCTA and the County of Orange, to community events and local destinations across Ranch Mission Viejo and greater south Orange County. The program reduces traffic congestion, eases parking demand and reduces carbon emissions. It also has the added benefits of building community connections through shared ride and event experiences while strengthening the connection between the three villages of Ranch Mission Viejo.

Types of Service

Event-Based Shuttle Service

Ranch Ride shuttles residents to various RanchLife and south Orange County events, avoiding traffic congestion and parking hassles. Check out our Event Calendar here to view upcoming offerings.

Groups Rides

Group Rides are provided at no-cost, so long as the OCTA-set minimum boarding requirements are met. If the group is unable to achieve the minimum boarding requirements during the ride, they will be charged 50% of the total ride cost.

Private Charters

Residents planning a celebration or special event can book a private shuttle, which can be arranged at full cost to the group.
